The 2026 Ford Bronco Big Bend immediately stands out for its technology ecosystem, anchored by a modern infotainment interface with seamless smartphone connectivity.
Tech-forward drivers who demand constant connectivity will appreciate how this SUV blends advanced digital features with daily usability. The Ford Connectivity Package allows for remote communication with the vehicle, ideal for users managing busy schedules or coordinating family activities. Commuting in areas like Homewood, IL is simplified with hands-free features that let drivers use navigation and streaming apps directly from their smartphones, minimizing distractions and maximizing productivity during every drive.
Performance in this SUV is enhanced by a 2.3L EcoBoost I-4 engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission, which work together to deliver responsive acceleration and smooth gear transitions. Electronic Stability Control and traction management systems ensure the Bronco remains composed across varying road conditions, aided by 4WD for confident handling in inclement weather or rough terrain. Digital powertrain management allows the SUV to adapt its driving characteristics, supporting both city commutes and outdoor adventures with efficient control.
Smart safety is a core strength, with electronic systems like ABS brakes, brake assist, and Electronic Stability Control working in tandem to detect and respond to hazards. The rear parking camera and integrated sensors provide real-time visual feedback, helping drivers avoid obstacles and improve parking accuracy. Emergency communication through 911 Assist brings peace of mind, while auto high-beam headlights and occupant sensing airbags add layers of intelligent protection, all managed by advanced onboard processors for rapid, adaptive responses.
Feature highlights include the Ford Connectivity Package, which unlocks digital vehicle management options for a full year. The leather steering wheel, cloth bucket seats, and automatic climate control ensure comfort, while remote keyless entry and push-button start add everyday convenience. Entertainment is enhanced through a 7-speaker audio system, SiriusXM with 360L, and smartphone integration that supports popular music and podcast apps. Steering wheel-mounted controls and a trip computer round out a cockpit designed for connected living.
Against technology-focused competitors like the Jeep Wrangler and Toyota 4Runner, the Bronco Big Bend distinguishes itself with a robust app ecosystem and digital convenience features. While all three SUVs offer rugged utility, the Broncoâs infotainment interface and Ford Connectivity Package provide more direct avenues for over-the-air updates and smartphone-based remote functions, making it especially appealing for those seeking a vehicle that adapts to their digital lifestyle.
Does this SUV have wireless CarPlay or Android Auto? The Broncoâs infotainment system is engineered for direct smartphone integration, supporting the latest app-based controls, though specific wireless capability depends on device compatibility. What driver-assistance technology is included? Advanced features such as rear parking camera, ABS, brake assist, emergency communication, and stability control offer comprehensive digital safety.

1st Bronco = A+
by Brandon on 4/14/2026 10:37:07 AM
I spent months reading reviews comparing the Jeep Wrangler and the Ford Bronco. The general consensus was the Bronco is easier to live with as a daily driver. I purchased a Bronco 1.5 years ago to consolidate my SUV and Convertible into one vehicle. It's been a dream to own thus far. Highs +Adaptive cruise control, easy to move down the freeway with minimal effort + Steering - nicely weighted, even after 40k miles goes down road in straight line +Styling - people always tell me how sharp the Bronco looks +Top down - awesome to put 4 other people in and hit the road +Removing hard top - not difficult, can be done by one person +Snow - feels secure and planted in NE Ohio winter snow +Comfort - Seats are great for long road trips +Stereo - Bang and O stereo sounds fantastic +Controls - thankful for buttons and not just screens +Gas Mileage - can average in the low-mid 20's if driven cautiously + Seat warmers - hot hot hot +Room - feels much less cramped inside than Jeep Wrangler Lows -Wind Noise can be pronounced, but not anything I can't live with -Hard top is sensitive, be careful removing it you can scratch and damage it -Windshield - because of steep angle, they like to get chipped / cracked -Interior - materials look a little cheap for a 55k vehicle (except seats = so nice) -2.3L engine - doesn't sound great, but does a great job of moving you forward If you're going to be a commuter, I recommend the Outer Banks model because it comes with the least aggressive tires. It also has body colored fender flares and just looks fantastic. I bought a black one with the black painted hard top. It is quite the looker. Also, get the High/Lux package so you get the Bang and Olfusen stereo, 360 degree camera, and adaptive cruise control. I usually change vehicles every 1-2 years, but I absolutely love this one and plan to keep it until the new model comes out. The fact that it was designed and built in America also speaks to me. The Bronco community and number of people that admire this vehicle will really surprise you. After nearly 40,000 miles I am firmly in the Bronco camp and plan to stay here for awhile! - 5.0
Great vehicle!

I have a 2024 Ford Bronco Outer Banks with the 2.3L. No issues at all. Drove it across country and it was comfortable. I bought mine with a hard top because I live in a climate with snow and wanted more security. I would recommend it.
